ReFrame
With this project i wanted to try and make a lamp using thin sheets of veneer, the light gets deflected in some spots and is let through in others. The parts that make up the lampshade are not fixed to the foot of the lamp and can be arranged as desired to direct the light in different ways and to create different compositions. The way the shapes interact with eachother creates new frames. I made a foot for the lamp using aluminum roundstock. To turn the lamp on and of I designed my own lightswith wich is integrated into the foot

All the pictures and diagrams i made during the development of the base of the lamp. There was a lot of trial and error involved and i ended up making most parts at least twice to get them to perfectly fit together.
